Villa Kystlinje

A coastal house that only made sense at dusk, when the interior lights match the last light over the water.

Finding the minute

The architects sent us a beautiful model and a hard brief: the house had to sell before the foundations were poured, to buyers who would never see the site in summer.

We tested nine times of day in clay. Midday flattened the cantilever; sunset was too theatrical. At 21:14 in late June, the sky and the interior lamps reach the same brightness — the house looks open, warm and quiet at once.

From there we built the film around a single slow dolly along the pool, ending on the upper living room as the first lamp switches on.

Final frames were graded in a filmic colour pipeline and delivered in print and social formats on the same day.
