Manifesto
Three designers and four metalworkers in a former cotton mill. We design only what we can make ourselves, a few metres from our desks.
1. Less, longer.We make few objects and keep making them. A chair launched today should still be in the catalogue in twenty years.
2. Colour is function.Four colours tell you which chair is yours, which drawer is the kitchen's, which lamp is lit.
3. Repair beats replace.Every part is sold separately. Bring us a 1990s frame — we'll re-coat it.
4. Made where designed.The bender sits next to the drawing table. Ideas get tested the same afternoon.
