good questions
FAQ
Will it look messy?
Not with good design: neat mown edges and paths frame the meadow and show it's intentional.
When will it flower?
Annuals flower the first summer; perennials take a year or two to really shine.
Do meadows attract ticks or wasps?
Mown paths keep people out of long grass, and most visitors are friendly bees and butterflies.
Can I still have a lawn for playing?
Of course! Many of our gardens keep a lawn and turn only the edges into meadow.
