Do you only work in Italy?
Mostly, but not only — we have worked in Spain, France and Switzerland with local partners.
How long does a square take?
Usually two to four years from first study to opening, including public consultation and the archaeological survey that almost every Italian square requires.
Do you involve residents?
Always. We open a small office on site during design, with drawings on the wall and coffee on the table.
Can you work on a small budget?
Some of our favourite projects were the smallest. A good bench in the right place can change a street.
