Founded in Seville in 2011, where shade has always been architecture. Today 36 engineers, computational designers and makers work between our studio and our test lab.
Our belief
The best air conditioning is a well-placed shadow.
Before glass and machines, southern cities kept cool with deep walls, courtyards and lattices. We bring that wisdom to contemporary buildings — with simulation, precise fabrication and, where it makes sense, a little movement.
The sun lab
A heliodon, a wind tunnel and a lot of prototypes.
Our lab tests shading prototypes at 1:1 under artificial sun and wind. Every kinetic system runs 100,000 cycles before it reaches a facade.
