Pour 03 // Finish classes

Agree the finish before the price.

Most disputes on concrete jobs come down to one word: “acceptable”. We price every package against a finish class and a signed sample panel.

Pour 05 // FAQ

Questions builders ask us.

What's the smallest package you'll price?

Around 400 m³ for structural work. For architectural walls we'll look at anything — some of our best work is a single 60 m³ feature wall.

Do you supply the concrete or just place it?

Both models work. Usually we nominate the supplier and mix designs so we carry the risk on finish and strength; we can also place builder-supplied concrete under a joint testing regime.

How early should we involve you on a board-marked job?

Before the architect fixes the board width and tie-hole grid. A day with us at design stage usually saves weeks of formwork redesign — and the sample panel needs six weeks to cure and approve.

Can you design the post-tensioning?

Yes. Our PT engineers produce tendon layouts, calculations and stressing records under a design-and-construct subcontract, reviewed by the project's structural engineer.

What happens if a cube fails?

We notify you the same day, take cores within 48 hours and engage an independent engineer. In 32 years we have never had to demolish an element — but the procedure is written down and priced in.

Do you work nights and weekends?

Large raft pours, civil works and live-road jobs often run at night. We hold permits and noise management plans for both metro areas and price shift premiums openly.
